Smoking Gomez

Why do people smoke cigarettes? I don't know to be perfectly honest with you. I mean there might be a reason or two why people would start smoking them but, I don't get why they continue doing it. In my opinion, cigarettes are alright.  Of coarse, they are not my number one choice to smoke but, they are okay I guess. What I don't understand is how people can smoke pack after pack. I mean, that's nasty, it makes you smell bad, it can make you light headed at times, it brings deceases, it may cause death and the worst part of all, there's second hand smoke, which means, other people that don't smoke and even kids get affected as well.
